On Sunday 2023/07/09 at approximately 19h30 we received information of suspects that are in possession of stolen batteries which were going to be moved within the hour from Foreman Road shacks, Urban Defence Field Unit along with other law enforcement officers mobilized to the shacks where the batteries were stored in accordance to the source. Upon gaining entry we found five large red North Star lithium batteries and seven small red North Star lithium batteries. The occupants of the residence were an African female and an undocumented foreign national. The suspect was taken to Sydenham SAPS for processing as well as the exhibits were handed in at Sydenham SAPS.
